After this date all classes not paid for will be dropped from student registration. March 26 - Monday Tuition and Fees: Students are encouraged to pay tuition and fees at the time they register. Scholarships will be deducted from the tuition and fees as students register with few exceptions. To avoid the delays students may encounter with lines etc. when they return from Spring Break early payment is to the students advantage. Students who are unable to pay when preregistering will have until March 23, Friday, to pay tuition and fees. Students who have not made arrangements to pay by 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, will have their classes dropped and will be required to beginning Monday, March 20 and pay when they register, plus be assessed the $1000 late fee. Students may elect to pay tuition and fees as detailed on their Registration Confirmation by enclosing in an envelope their confirmation form and a check or money order (no cash please) for the exact amount detailed on the confirmation form, and dropping the envelope off at the cashier's office. This will allow students to pay tuition and fees without standing in line. Receipts may be picked up from the cashier within a week of payment. TUITION AND FEES SCHEDULE 1983-8- Per Quarter Late registration fee of $1000 assessed. March 26 - Monday Last day of late registration. Credit Resident Financial Aids: SUSC participates in all of the State and Federal Financial Aids programs. Brochures and help to understand these programs are available in the financial aids office located in the Administration Building. Early application and form completion is suggested. Usually the processing of financial forms takes about four to six weeks before money is available. Since it is the responsibility of the student to meet the financial obligations the office of financial aids suggests early attention to this matter. Continuing students who already have financial aid neet not reapply. Their money will be available on March 19. Checks will be made on March 19, 1984; not before. GSL checks will not be released before March 21, according to federal regulations. Admissions: All new students and all former students who have missed one of the major quarters, (i.e. Fall, Winter or Spring), since last attending SUSC must complete an admissions application. Forms are available through: The Admissions Office Southern Utah State College Cedar City, Utah 84720 No admissions deadline is specified. However, students must be admitted before they can register. Therefore, early application is suggested. Registration schedule of events: Begin February 21 Tuesday Seniors only will be allowed to register on this day. All other students may register at will beginning Wednesday February 22. Please note that no time schedule is specified. If you go to Late Registration: Students who do not advance register or register during the regular registration time schedule must late register. Students registering on March 26 and after must have the instructor's signature of approval before they can register for the class. An additional fee of $10 will be required of all students registering March 26 through late registration. Adding and dropping classes: Changes to class schedules can be made any time after a student has registered, however, each selection of either by adding or dropping will cost the student $100 fee will be assessed for each class change.
