Martin Hanson,' ono of tho most respected citizens of Alpine, passed away Sunday ovonlng after nn Illness lasting nenrly two yonrs. Ho was bom In Illg Cottonwood, Salt Lako County, April 2nd, 1870, with Ills parents, par-ents, Mr. nnd Mrs. Christian O Hanson Han-son he, moved to Spanish Folk whero ho lived till 1895 when he married Miss Elizabeth Moyln of Alpine, am', settled In that city. He hns been prominent In Alpine affairs and his death caused much mourning. He Is cuvived by a vldo nnd nn adopted daughter, lMna, nlsc u father, iwo sisters and o:ie htothor, John J. Hnnroii of Spanish Fcik. The sisters aro Mrs. Jofophlno O.' i-iit of Spanish Fork nnd Mrs. Mntlhh. Moy of Alpine. The funeral wns held Tuesday Tues-day nt ono o'clock In the Alpine Ward meeting house. Hlr.hcp .lunnVJ W. Ynnco provided. Sieging was furnished by tho chcir.
