put on a police record for life Detective Wright said that they receive several requests per week from the government and companies on asking information residents and students from Logan He said in some cases any police record could affect your future employment Wright said ths only way to get police records cleared would be to have the records expunged This is a long and expensive process and once you have your record expunged it can never be done again The fines can sometimes be worked off through special arrangements with the city Judge Champlin said however that he doesn’t like to do it because in the past students wouldn’t show up to work and they didn’t want to work at a time when they could be under supervision Heard 18 cases The Judge said that within the past two weeks he has heard approximately 18 cases in which students were in beer halls underage He said that the high amount of cases was due to the recent raids they have had on the local bars Persons who go into bars
