1938 Summer Session mer Session Program 0 TO LECTURE On Friday morning Dr Ernest O Lawrence professor of physics and director of the radiation laboratory of physics at the University of California will deal with atomic physics with special emphasis given to the nucleus of the atom in his this week His Monday Tuesday and Thursday lectures will be held in the auditorium at 11:30 in the morning His Wednesday lecture at 2:00 P M will be held in the Physics Lecture Room in the Chemistry Building On Wednesday evening at 8:00 in the Physics Lecture Room the Sigma Xi group will present Dr Lawrence in an evening lecture All Sigma Xi members and others who may be interested in this discussion are invited to attend lee-tur- es Miss Laura Bryant will present members of her classes in a special musical program It will be held at 11:30 during the regular lecture hour in the auditorium The musical program brings to a successful close Miss Bryant's work in Public School Music Her course with several emi nent teachers in major universities and some of these people will be on the visiting faculty next year Although the program for next summer has not been definitely worked out it is apparent from what has already been accomplished that a very broad course offering will be made The lecture program will also be of high quality Summer Session officials are very pleased to receive
