Their meaning and importance will depend on next years effort and the following student bodies hence. This year spawned some attempts at possible solution. Next year will determine whether they were conceived in vain. A Student Government is a very dependent extension of the interests, ability and respect of a student body. Clubs have recently elected officers for next year. year has unveiled some of the interesting characteristics of this student body. It is contrary to some peoples belief, collectively very able and individually, very purposeful. These attributes exhibited themselves in the expressions made by the Student Government. Failure to recognize these characteristics has resulted in misunderstanding and denunciation. Certainly thise year has demonstrated that this situation hinders Westminster as it would any institution of higher learning. It can only be hoped that each element on campus will examine inwardly first and then suggest improvements in the other elements. Westminster College stands in certain need of this self evaluation and then subsequent pursuit of the ideals espoused continally. Again, my thanks to fellow officers, editors, chairmen and students who have done so much for Westminster College. I hope the same willing-ne- s and ability is offered to next years officers a3 has been the case this year.
