V Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah, December Eight Seniors Named to 19, 1958 Mb's Number 5 Who Eight outstanding seniors who have been accepted to represent Westminster College in the 1958-5- 9 edition of Whos Who in American Universities and Colleges were honored in the chapel service on Novem- ber 26, 1958. Dean Ballenger stated that the college was proud to present the awards on the basis of academic standing, leadership and student activities. Each award was made by the students major professor. Dr. Uemura presented his award to Arthur Donald Coleman, president of the Student Government Association and football. To Stephen James Dono-vie- l. Dr. Schwender gave the award for president of the senior class and member of Alpha Chi. Mr. Edlund presented his award to Mrs. Evelyn Donoviel, who is also a member of Alpha Chi. Dr. Conrad presented his award to Joy Marie Hammer, who is treasurer of the Student Government Association and a member of Alpha Chi. Carol Jean Howells is president of the womens residence hall, program chairman for the Whing organization and Dr.- Bercovitzs presented the award. To Mary Anne Taylor, Mrs. Michel-so- n presented her award and Mary Anne is president of the Campus Y. Professor Kuchler gave his award to Jim Santy, vice president of the senior class and student director of the college band. Selective Service Sends Reminder Colonel Evan P. Clay, state director of Selective Service, has issued a reminder to all young men that the United States government requires them to register with Selective Service within five days after attaining their 18th birthday. Late registration or failure to register may well result in the young man being declared a delinquent under the Selective Service law. As a delinquent he may be subjected to immediate induction in the armed forces without regard to his age or other circumstances.
