Playing good ball all along and finally bursting with brilliance against Carroll, Doug Andreasen has proved himself the sole owner of the title: Athlete of the Issue. Andreasen first played football at Boise High where he made the all conference team in his senior year. He joined the Marines and starred for the Hawaiian Marines football team. Because of his ability, Doug, was chosen to play for the All Service team in the Hula Bowl against a college all-stteam. He comes to Westminster from Long Beach City College. Andreasen has a PE Major; he is 21 and single? is really v Andreasons running His something! 511,. 180 lb. frame can pack that football through the line or on pitchouts. Speed and power are his assets. Andreasen does everything well; he is a top notch pass receiver, kicks the PATS, and he blocks well. Doug also possesses a dev- astating defensive game; his tackles are hard. He coyers a lot of ground, whether he is coving a pass, breaking up the interference, or detecting a bootleg.
