All rights reserved.. EDITORIAL Welcome First off, we wish to welcome all returning students and faculty back to the college. Were happy to see you and we hope you had a terrific summer. A special welcome to the new students who have swelled Westminsters ranks to an all time record. As you can see, we have quite an energetic program this year, with a brand new type of athletic endeavor, among others. We note an increase in the faculty which of course means an increased curriculum. This is an extremely good sign and should be indicative of Westminsters future growth. A lot of this growth will depend on you, the new students, the Freshmen to continue the old traditions and institute new ones. This can and should be the greatest year in the history of the college. .We hope you will support the faculty and the student council and not your fellow students down. Lets have 100 cooperation in all the school functions and show a little enthusiasm and spirit and if for any reason something should flop, you can say, it wasnt my fault. . j : s After the Promises, What? : . It is 'rather, early to tell for sure just how the student council will operate this year. From the start, it looks like John Young means business and intends to bring about some radical changes in the policies concerning the student body. The fact that the student body now controls and operates the student lounge and will reap the profits (if any) from that does not mean that it was a wise move. Only time will tell.. With a complete new management and hours there is a good chance that it will prosper. There is a definite advantage to the student body from, the lounge Betty Cone Henderson (WC 41), profits.
