It is well to consider that traditions often bind and hamper, they do not necessarily add quality and nostalgic association. We have recently read in The Parson articles concerning the origin of the yearbooks name. i . According to these articles, it has flourished under that name. We are writing to question this fact. Has our yearbook, under the title Etosian flourished? ETOSIAN what connection has this title with Westminster College except an outmoded, dusty tradition which needs the cobwebs cleaned from its pages. As an example: if the yearbook strayed to the eyes of people other than students or alumni what would it mean to them. Nothing, simply nothing. Is it really tradition or just plain laziness on the part of the student body and alumni to think up an original name that actually reflects on the school. , wander arouna and listen to the latest word.
