Judges: The judges tdiall be the three language instructors, a member of the English department, who has minored in a foreign language, and an annually elected member in good standing of Sigma Pi Alpha, who is not competing for the scholarship. 7. Standards for judging : The essay shall be judged on : a. Mechanics and usage. b. Sincerity and thought con- tent. 8. a. In the event the winner cannot use the scholarship award the award Khali go to an alternate who is deemed worthy of it by the judges. b. If, however, no worthy alternate can be selected the award money shall be deposited in a bank at interest to be added to the following years scholarship. c. More than one applicant must qualify and compete in order for any applicant to compete for the scholarship. d. A scholarship winner is not eligible for any future contest. 9. Date due : The essay must be presented to the president of the fraternity on or before the fifteenth day of April, of the same year. 10. However, this served to make the party even more successful. Amid a clever setting of slogans satirizing marriage as an institution and the prevalence of matrimonial leanings in Westminster, the couples danced the night away. Ive seen more of the fairer sex nearly bowled over because they thought they should pass in front of the man, and to have the man go charging right along.
