There have been no flat roofs constructed in Nebo District since the Payson and Spring-vil- le High Schools were constructed. One of the directives the Board of Education gives the architect on each new project is that it must have a sloping roof sufficient to drain the moisture off of the roof. The new Complex at Spanish Fork definitely has a sloped roof. The two vocational at and Payson buildings Spanish Fork both have sloped roofs. They appear to have flat roofs because there is a fire wall that extends up and squares the top of the building off, however, the buildings have internal drains and they definitely have a slope to them.
