JESSIE LOVELL Trinity United Jessie N Clark Lovell, of Hunter will be the guest of honor at an open house for her 75th birthday. Hosted by her family, Rlaine Clark and Noel Clark, at the senior citizens center, 8952 W 2700 S on Sunday, March 30 from 3 to 8 p m All of her family, friends and relatives are invited. Mrs Lovell was born Jessie Nielsen in Mt. Pleasant on March 29, 1905 She lived in Mt. Pleasant until she graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1923, she attended Brigham Young University for the next two years of 1924 and such as Gleaner leader and activity counselor. In 1929 they sold their home in Fairview and started to build a new home in Mt. Pleasant. When the depression hit they were about two thirds finished, but they moved in anyway and took several very lean years to finish. Mrs Lovell has been active in the various church organizations She was in the Primary for nine years, the last years as president She was in the MIA for 30 years. She held positions One evening during the War she was asked to come to the City Hall where they wanted her to consider being County Bond Chairman. While there the officials from the Manti Parachute Plant came in soliciting workers for their plant just starting. She decided that if she was going to work in the war effort, she could just as well get paid for it so she signed up for the plant that night. She worked for them for the next two years, in the harness department, and as machine instructor for their training school in Mt Pleasant. When the plant closed she helped get the school lunch program started in the public school, for one Winter, then was appointed as Mt. Pleasant City Collector in the City office for the next five years. From there she went to work for Bradshaw Auto Parts in Mt Pleasant and Manti stores. She a there worked as bookkeeper for the next seventeen years In 1951 they built another home closer in town and sold the other one. Shortly after they moved into this home Ottos heallh started to fail and he developed a lung condition. He spent a good deal of his at time the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. On December 11, 1962 he died suddenly at his home. After Jessie had been a widow for two years she met William Clisbee Lovell, of Hunter. Mr. Lovell had been widowed for five years and after a year of visiting and a of his few manipulations family and her family they decided on marriage. They were married December 29, 1965 Mrs. Lovell has been active in the Hunter 6th Ward Relief Society as class leader, Social Relations (Literary) Spiritual Living, in the Drama in the MIA in her ward in Hunter Shp is a member of the Eldorado Camp of the Daughters of the Pioneers and a member of the Magna Woman's Club Beside her two sons Blaine and Noel she acquired four step daughters and one step son Darleen Timothy, of Kearns, Vauna Peterson, of Hunter, Leatha Gillette, of Magna, Jeannene Allred of Clearfield and Brent Lovell, who lives next door Hunter. Most of her time was spent cooking, cleaning, sewing and caring for her large family. After most of them were grown she worked as a nurses aid at the Panguitch Hospital. Friends and family are invited, no gifts please. Mrs. Coe was a Magna resident for 13 years when she was married to Henry Lloyd Coe. Mr. Coe worked for her After Pioneers. husbands death Mrs. Coe ' I to be Celebrated away November 8, 1978. Mr. and Mrs. Coe belonged to the senior citizens center and the Magna Second Ward. Her are, Orlo Dean of Leeds; Davenport, Hughes, of Davenport Panguitch; Clara Smith, of step-childr- American Fork; Earl Davenport, of Cedar City; Leon Davenport, of Junction, Mt. Julia Johansen, Burris Davenport, Pleasant; of Kearns. Frances Lemmon, LaVinney Farnsworth and Brose Davenport have passed away. Her six real children have provided her joy with 29 grandchildren and 59 greatgrandchildren. She has 120 step grandchildren.
