Show REPORTED PROBATE COURT FOR FOP GREAT SALT LAKE COUNTY WEDNESDAY july 13 1859 1839 10 am court met pursuant to adjournment the case of kaeppel vs va Shiek and the ca case no of uney va Ys shiek were called but the writs not having been returned court took a recess till 4 pm 4 PM court resumed its sitting the cases that were called in the morning were withdrawn the case of elihu alien allen vs kellogg and noyes was called up A miner miners esq appearing for the plaintiff who after some preliminaries called for a jury to try the case the court ordered the clerk clrk to issue a venira for a liry iury jury to be returnable tomorrow to morrow morning morning at 10 a aeto ato which time the court ad adjourned journe THURSDAY 1410 14 10 am court met pursuant to adjournment in the case of alien allen vs kellogg noyes the venira having been returned the following jurors were and sworn to try the issue between the parties viz charles crisman man samuel wAlbert Merrill Juhn Vanc Yanc edn ejr T S brown and arid john a higbee NJ N J crew charles blair biair F S jones and john franks were duly sworn and testified on the part of the plaintiff and thoa thos R lati iner on the tho part of the defense the jury was addressed by mr air miner for the plaintiff and by mr air killogg ki for the defense and were then charged by the judge and retired after being absent about half an abour hour returned a virdice in favor of plaintiff for tor 20 court ordered that each party should pay half the costs the case of silas richards vs geo was called up and by agreement of the parties was laid over till saturday at 10 am the case of ellen M brizzee vs henry W brizzee brought to obtain a divorce was next hext called up orrin salih sanith and S D sirrine were duly sworn and testified on the part of the plaintiff whereupon the court ordered and decreed that the bonds of matrimony hereto h reto fore ex existing isling between the said parties should be forever dissolved the plaintiff should pay the costs of suit court adjourned till saturday at 10 am SATURDAY 16 1610 iglo 10 am court met pursuant to adjournment the case of amelia A burin barin vs john dunn for a divorce was waa called mrs margaret peck was wai duly sworn and testified in the case ease whereupon the court ordered and decreed that the bonds of matrimony existing between said parties should be forever dissolved court ad adjourned till monday douday IS 18 10 am MONDAY 18 h b 10 am the ca cae cafe e of fhe the people vs deloss gibion was called ferguson and mills I 1 cou counsel isei isel for defendant filed a motion to quash the indictment and asked till lii ill wednesday the to prepare for the argument the court adjourned to wednesday 10 am |
