John-S;-Holdil- Speaker Sees Life As Constant Battle CITY, April - The Presbytery and Presbyterial Society began their .annual convention in Cedar City last night, with members from alLotSouthern, Utah in attendance. The opening session of the conference was held at 7:30 p.m. with Keith Throndson. principal of Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant presiding. The sermon for the opening session was given by Rev. L. H. Shindledecker of Greenriver, who chose for his subject, "Life As a Battle." The Rev. Mr. Shindledecker pointed out that life is a constant battle. with a struggle to earn a living, to keep up air appearance in society, and a struggle for happiness from the cradle to the grave. In his sermon the Rev. Mr. that there Shindledecker observed Is great value in- - ofganization, and that lay members, whether civic or ecclesiastical are important, and upon them rests much responsibility of the results of or ganized efforts.
