Show DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT well known man of brigham city passes away at age of 62 mr air J P C johnson a well known and highly respected resident ot of the 3rd ard ward of this city passed away last night about I 1 his death aping due to heart trouble from which he has suffered considerably for the last five or six years he has been reeling feeling indisposed to a somewhat greater extent than usual the last few days but wa was s up town and greeted hiis friends bhe cheerily ertly tuesday afternoon he has felt tor for a long time that his sojourn on earth was not very ang lens but had no idea even a few hours before his death that the end was so near mr air johnson was a native of sweden came to this country about 34 years ago and was in his year when he died his first residence after his wife and eldest child came to this country was on the north end of the block upon which the family home is now located lie he leaves a wife and eleven children besides several grandchildren grand children to mourn his loss he was a good faithful latter day saint living his religion consistently and enjoyed the entire confidence of his associates he has acted as janitor in the public buildings here for the last 15 years or more in addition to following his trade of shoemaker at the time of his death lie he was employed as jani janitorial torAl in the tabernacle and first national bank building he was a very faithful workman always to be depended on and gave entire satisfaction wherever he was funeral services will be held in the 3 3rd ard ward meeting house saturday atte afternoon te noora at we extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and trust that god will send his ministering angels to comfort them in their sorrow GOOD CROP OT TOMATOES tomatoes Tomato eB are now on the market and the local canning factory hi b doing a good business we are informed informed by the manager that the crop this year Is as heavy as usual and the quality superior to anything they have had for years |
