Show Forum Scottish Rite Scholarship CCT Presents Christmas Play Cheryl Ann B ond, Accounting Major Andrew Dokos, Business Management Major John Fahrega, A.P., Business Major Elementary Education Major Joyce Lane, December 10, 1982 Annette Linker, Biology Major Jeffrey Benjamin, Human Resource Management Major Julie Bannier, Nursing Major Eduard Pendleton, Behavioral Science Major Of the fourteen students who applied, these eight students were awarded a Scottish Rite Scholarship for $600 each. Westminster College in the only school to which the Ancient and accepted Scottish Rite offers scholarships, according to Dr. James Buterbaugh, associate director of development grants. To apply for the scholarship a student must meet all requirements by Westminster, and then the members of the Scottish Rite pick from the qualified applicants. The application deadline for all scholarships is February 1, 1983. According tojosie Valdez in Financial Aid, they will be mailing out a current list of all available scholarships The Rite judges on qualities of leadership and character. On the evening of November 20, the students were honored and presented the scholarships at a Reunion Banquet of the Scottish Rite. Andrew Dokos, a recipient, delivered a presentation on the strengths of Westminster and of his Jim Buterbaugh introduced each recipient. According to Buterbaugh, there were close to 250 people at the banquet.
