Kearns, and who met a tragic death at Greenwood last Satufday morning, .were tenderly laid to their final resting place yesterday after noon at the Gunnison City cemetery, Gunnison and the entire community reverently bowed their heads in .sad ness and with eyes dimmed in tears and with aching hearts going out for those bereft, the services were dee.ply impressive. The auditorium at the high school building, where the last sad rites were said, was filled to capacity with loving friends and relatives. Mrs. Ellen Robins Kearns, daughter of James and Mary Childs Robins, was born at American Fork, September 22, 1862. In the yeai 1879 she came to Gunnison with her parents and has resided here since.
