Brown, manager for the Cen- tral Utah Poultry Erchange, accompanied by Mr. Metzgar, field man for the Sevier County Poultry raise! s, recently returned from a trip to Los Angeles and other points. Mr. Brown and Mr. Metzgar were on the coast for the purpose of making a study oi the conditions of production and marketing of eggs and poultry, and their visit proved highly instructive and profitable. Not only did these gentlemen learn much about the method of raising and marketing, but they gained much from the offices of the farm bureau of that section. Through the courtesy of the farm bureau officials Messrs Brown and Metzgar were told how to make the best selection of hatcheries from which to buy baby chicks. Another mjssion of the local men on the coast was to purchase baby chicks for distribution among the poultry raisers of the poultry asso which embraces Sanpete ciation, Juab, and Sevier counties. Before re turning orders were placed for 110, 000 baby chicks of accredited hatch ery stock and at prices, considering the late order, much lower than could be obtained in other channels. Did you make any profit on the sale of stocks, bonds, or other property, real or personal?
