For the benefit of all church workers included in the Snow Junior Colwill be conlege School dictrict there ducted a Leadership W eek in Ephraim December 7, 8 and 9. The Stakes included in the d. strict are: North Sanpete, Sevier, North Sevier, South Sevier, Wayne Piute, and Carfield. The committees in charge are preparing special programs for the various departments and are making arrangements with the various families in Ephraim in order that those who attend may obtain board and lodging at a minimum cost while in Ephraim and it is expected that at least two representatives from each organization in each ward, the ward authorities, and the various stake officers wil be present This is a new movement in this district and is being backed by the Presidencies of the stakes included in the list and by the General Church, and Church school authorities, and it is hoped- that the bishops of the various wards will see that the proper announcements are made in order that their wards may be represented. It is intended that this movement will result in rendering the greatest amount of service to church workers in order that the church activities may be better carried out in the respective ward. The following is a list of the department meetings, the committees in charge, and the special lectures who will be present: The following special visitors are expected to be present to lecture on special subjects in the various meet- Branch Agricultural College of Utah the State School of Sauth- Utah is now well launched on its decennial year. Since its estab- lishment, like all new ventures, it has had its hopeful days and its doubtful days, its knockers and its boosters. However, through these nine uncertain years it has steadily grown and advanced; if has demon-strated to those by whom it was that it is not only a very desirable institution to the people of Southern Utah, but also a vry necessary one to them. In spite of the summers persistent rumors about its abolishment or curtaiKment) fi,it now boasts the largest and most d student body in its history. In refutation of the statement that it is Cedar Citys or Iron countys school be it said that in the B. A. C.s enrollment are representa,-tive-s from nearly every community within Southern Utah. Another encouraging indication for its continued growth and development is the increased enrollment of students in the college department. The fact that the B. A. C. has certain advantages not obtainable in the larger institutions for first and second year college students is now being recog- nized by many of the young men and women of Southern Utah and attracting them to this school for special training. This year the Branch Agricultural College is making special provision for its winter course students. The courses are being selected on the basis of practicality and will be adapted to the needs of those enrolled. All the departments of the school will have subjects from which to select. Full credit toward graduation will be given upon completion of winter course subjects. January 3, 1923, is the opening date of the winter course at the B. A.
