Earl for a banquet and program. The following month, April 8, 1937, Mr. Carter passed away. As Mrs., Carter watches the growth of the state along lines of education, road building, architecture and density of population, she loves to recount incidents of the same. From her parents Mrs. Carter has imbibed an abiding faith in the Gospel as taught by the L. D. S. church and has many pleasant memories of early church history. She was Relief society teacher for forty years, taught religion class, worked hard on the Old Folks committee for many years and in times when they put on ward dinners Mrs. Carter did more than her share.
