E. 4-- Clubs Win H Honors At State Fair Perform In SLC .Always consistent winners in competition, the Box Elder counclubs walked off with ty more than their share of the blue ribbons and second and third place honors at the Utah State Fair, held recently in Salt Lake City. The group exhibit from Box Elder county took second place. It was led by Melba Checketts and Thora Anderson of Bear River City. The individual exhibit from the same club also took second place honors. Winning first place honors was the fourth year group exhibit in foods. The club is led of by Lorene Mary Braegger Bear River City. Margretta won first place in the Kerr Canning contest. A group exhibit of first year clothing won a second place award. Leader of this group is Mrs. Vera Evans of Tremonton. With Mrs. Verda Nessen of Howell as club leader a group won second place honors in second year clothing group exhibit. Winner of the second year individual clothing division was Koy Nessen of Howell with first place honors. The county third year group exhibit, let by Mrs. Carven Waldron of Tremonton won second place. Winner of the first place honors for third year individual club leader was Melva Jane Castelton of Tremonton.
