Show r Ti Local Couple Is United in Home Rites Quiet home ceremonies united Elizabeth Jehsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth S. Jensen, Brigham City, and Floyd T. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson, also of Brigham City, Sunday, Dec. 23, at the Jensen home. Officiating was Mayor Horsley. For the wedding and reception which followed, the blond bride was lovely in a gown of lace over net and shantung. The dress featured long sleeves, tiny Peter Pan collar and a skirt of white shantung overlaid with scalloped lace. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink and white carnations surrounding a single detachable orchid corsage. Standing with her as matron of honor was Mrs. Ross Shaw with Georginia Molendorf and Rosemary Fessler, cousin of the bride, as bridesmaids. Matron of honor chose pink net with the bridesmaids in blue net. Their flowers were complimentary to their gowns. Mother of the bride chose a pink lace model with Mrs. Johnson wearing blue crepe. Both wore pink rosebud corsages. Leonard Johnson, brother of the bridegroom, stobd as best Miss Connie Togelhcr Again for Christmas displayed during the reception. A gray-bludress with navy blue accessories completed the new Mrs. Johnson's going away ensemble. They are honeymooning to Washington where the bridegroom is stationed at Oak Harbor with the U. S. Naval Air Force. ; The bride is a graduate of Box Elder High school and seminary and was formerly employed in Salt Lake City.'. The receiving line stood before an archway which was decked with pink leaves. Ferns stood on either end of the setting. For her wedding and reception the bride chose an original gown by Ora Thompson. It was designed of, Chantilly lace over tulle and satin. The creation was fashioned with round neckline and long tapered sleeves. Appliqued roses of lace were accents at the neckline, sleeve and hemline of the skirt. Both wore corsages of rosebuds tied with silver and gold ribbons. Jay Christensen was best man for his brother. Ushers were Darwin Christensen, Baty Morrison and Dick Blue carnations were worn by all men in the wedding party. , A, miniature bride and bridegroom topped the beautiful four cake. The cake tiered wedding featured ' . pink rosebuds, tiny bluebirds and wedding bells. Arnell Jeppsen was at the guest book with Mrs. Scott Olsen, Mrs. Mardele Olsen and Mrs. Henry Hansen were in charge of serving. Gifts were arranged by Mrs. Darwin Christensen, Mrs. Dick McColloch, Glenda Hanseen and Joleen Timothy. Program for the evening included piano selections by Pati Smith a nd a vocal number. Temple by the River by Zola Olsen, accompanied by Donna ' Isaacson. For honeymoon travel, the new Mrs. Christensen chose a beige and brown sheath with brown ccessories. They are now at home in Brigham City. Both are graduates of Box Elder High school and seminary. The bride is employed at Box Elder County Ban.
