Armstrong Family Returns from Trip Mr. and Mrs. Charles Armstrong and sons, Joe and Tommy, have returned from a pleasant two weeks visit in Rush-villIllinois. While in Rush ville they visited, with 'grandparents of. the two 'boys, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Armstrong and a great-granmother of the youngsters, Mrs. Anna Armstrong. Enroute home they traveled through tlhe Bad Lands and Black Hills. . - A big p!us...exclusive Former; Brigham Young University coed, Miss Darlene Gaye Nebeker, spoke nuptial vows with Robert Keith Higginson In rites performed Friday, August 5th. Vows were solemnized in the Logan temple with Preside ht A. George Raymond officiating, in the presence of the immediate relatives. following the Immediately rites the bridal party assembled at the Maddox Ranch House in Perry to fete the couple at a dinner. , In the evening the newlyweds were feted at a reception in the Perry ward LDS recreation hall, hosted by parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Nebeker. The lovely bride .was attired floor length in an exquisite gown of Chantilly lace over satin. A scoop neckline outlined with scallops caught with tiny pearls, and sleeves tapering to points over the wrists enhanced the .bodice. Her matching fingertip veil fell from a crown of seeded pearls. Her bridal bouquet was of beautiful pink rosebuds. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Henry Bortolussi, In a gown Of light blue taffeta. Other attendants were Mrs. Lee Chugg, Mrs. Clarence Bagley, - Miss Varlene Cook and Miss Ruth Collings, ell wearing gowns of light pink taffeta. They carried nosegays ' -of white blossoms. Maxine Higginson, Alice Nebeker and Barbara Nebeker, in matching little dresses of taf- . withikvron Supreme! feta and net combination, and acted as carrying nosegays, flower girls. Max Higginson, brother of the bridegroom, stood as best man. Ushers were Henry Bortolussi, Byron Nebeker and Clarence Bagley. For her daughters wedding, Mrs. Nebeker wore a blue dress with pink chiffon trim, and Mrs. Higginson a rose colored dress. Both had bouquets of pink carnations. Beautiful Cake The beautiful wedding cake stood on a lace covered table, and was decorated with pink roses and bells, and topped with a miniature bride and groom. Miss Shirley Hughes was at the guest book, and Vem Rom ney of Salt Lake City served as master of ceremonies. The many friends and relatives who called enjoyed the following program numbers: Reading by Mildred Egberf; two vocal numbers by Harlen Hancock, Because, and Through the Years; Marie Bagley sang Oh Promise Me and "Why IDo I Love You; and Whither two , solo numbers,.
