Show mi Connie Jean Watkins Visits Grandparents Corinnc Methodist Club Meets Here Wins Top Pro Honors Brigham City Open Champ T7 The Corinne Methodist Ladles club was held at the home of Mrs. Lilly Stoll, 429 West For-eson Thursday, June 17 with 17 ladies present. After business was conducted the ladies did fancy needle work for the remainder of the afternoon. Lunch was served by Mrs. Stoll. Those present at the meeting were: Mrs. Jennie Adney, Mrs. Della Owens, Mrs. Roy Fors-greMrs. A. L. Shaw, Mrs. Rita Redelings, Mrs. Grace Ross, Mrs. Lorlnda Bradford, Mrs. Pat Mrs. Charlotte Hammerland, Ferry, Mrs. Emma Shaw, all of Corinne; Mrs. Edward Lepper and Mrs. Sarah Hadley of and Mrs. Maxwell Mrs. Lola Gable, Mrs. Pohl, Floe Crosley, Mrs. Mary Fors-gre- n and Mrs. Evelyn Adams, all, of Brigham City. Connie Jean Watkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Watkins of been Phoenix, Arizona, has spending a few days with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. V. Watkins. During Connies visit here her mother, the former Bonnie Taylor, visited In Logan with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor. Before their return to Phoenix a family dinner was held at the home. Ogden amateur, carried off championship honors at the annual Brigham City Open golf tournament, Sunday, registering a low score of 65 against the states top amateurs and professionals. Two Amateurs Pace Pros During Brigham City Open Golf Tourney Tommy Williams Wins first round was sensational and during it he displayed some of the worst and probably the best golf he ever played. He took a six on the par three second hole, and then bogied the fourth hole, to be four over par at the end of the first four holes of the tournament. He parred No. 5, and then began what the old timers believe is the greatest string of four holes ever, played in a Utah tournament.
