Show Win Honors For First Month Sacrament Meeting Mr. In Sixth Ward Sunday Sacrament meeting was held In the Sixth LDS. ward Sunday with Arthur Steffen Jn charge. Opening song was by the congregation, followed by prayer by Clarence Perry. While the choir sang the sacament song, directed by Lottie Tyson and accompanied by Merle Malm-rossacrament was prepared by Garth Baird and Robert Tingey. Jay Hollingsworth, Lowell Tingey and David Troeeth were graduated from 'Primary and promoted to deacons. Mr. and Mrs. John N. While in California they stayed at the famous Sand and Sea Motel in Long Beach, the Mission Bay Motel at Pacific Beach and the El Baron Motel In Tijuana, Mexico. They witnessed the famous Pasadena Tournament of Roses and spent a day at the Santa Anita race track. Other highlights were the harbor cruises. It is probably the only time in history that so many ships, aircraft carriers, submarines, landing craft, tankers, etc. have been harbored at one time to enable the boys to be home for Christmas. Some of the ships had Christmas trees on them and most all were decorated with strings of varicolored lights making an Imposing sight at night.
