Dr. Henry A. Schroeder, head of the team, reported to the Central Society for Clinical research that the two drugs, neither of which was effective by itself, were combined with favorable clinical results. Schroeder emphasized, however, that the treatment only controls but does not cure the condition. He said the drugs used were hexamethonium chloride and hydrazinophthalazine, either i U tablet or injection form.
