' County Farms Ask Forming Of Soil Conservation District There this area, a referendum will be called for a later date. .At the referendum al land owners and land operators will be eligible to votejor or against the proposed establishment of the soil conservation district. If the district is organized, farmers in the area would receive technical assistance . in soils, agronomy, range management, and agricultural engineering from Federal service agencies, Morse stated. If the referendum Is passed by the people of the area, the district will be organized and two farmers within the district would be appointed to the board of supervisors by the State Soil Conservation committee and three from the area concerned would be elected by the farmers , and ranchers. These five men would constitute the governing body. Felt funeral home. Mrs. Tani was born January 25, 1894, in Japan where she was reared and educated. She married Saday Ira Tani in .1924 , In Japan. They came to the United Sates a short time later. Mr. Tani died a short time after coming here., Survivors include two sons, John Tani, Los Angeles, and Joe Tani, Brigham City; a daughter, Rose Tani, Brigham City; and a stepdaughter, Fumiko Suematsu, Japan; and her mother and two grandchildre and a brother and sister all in Japan. Cremation ceremonies will be held at the Alter Rest Crematory, Ogden. The finals will be held the second night of the fair, September 1, at the fair grounds.
