It may not sound like four years and 11 days travel, tout try it afoot, pushing a wheel barrow. Thats jvhat Larry Hightower did. What did it get him? Well, hes so healthy hes figuring on going right ahead pushing his wheelbarrow another 9,000 miles. He has a dozen log books full of notes, memories, messages and good wishes from thousands of people, of high and low degree, hes met along the way. Larry Hightower came pushing his wheelbarrow up Main street in Brigham City Saturday the afternoon, after crossing city limits' at 2:09 oclock. He had left Ogden Wednesday evening, two and one-hal- f days before. People kept stopping and stopping him along the road to talk with him. Some days he gets only eight or nine miles, although he likes to average about 14. When night comes and hes tired, he makes camp along the side of the road and sleeps. He hasnt had any provided by ravens as yet, but when its meal time, or soon afterward, Larry always manages to. eat pretty well. Hes never quite broke. As a veteran of World War 1 he receives J72 a month from Uncle Sam, his total anticipated income.
