Brigham City, Wednesday, March Mr. and MIAMI, Fla. (UP) Mrs. Louis Suteras adopted Utah For Summer IN CONTINUOUS EXISTENCE IS AT LYME HALL, CHESHIRE, ENC LANp WHICH HAS BRED MASTIFFS TOR MORE THAN YEARS ? 500 There will be four teams playing boys from the ages of 14 years up to the American Legion baseball age limit and will be under the sponsorship and of the Lions, Rotary, Klwanis clubs of Brigham City. Junior baseball was organized last summer for the purposes of supplementing the baseball program of Brigham City for this age group. The only baseball in the town for this age was American Legion and that team could carry only 16 boys on the roster. Every spring when the call for baseball goes out, there are between 75 and 100 boys who would like to play baseball, but havent the experience or ability to make a team. Contracts are out and may be obtained at Coach Vernal Harris office at the high school All or at the contracts must be signed by the parents and turned into the office at the school or newspaper by April 15. The reason for this is so a meeting can be held and the teams chosen. Then the committee can work out practice periods at the city park with the director and city recreation draw up a schedule of games. The program will be worked very closely with the American Legion program, In fact the American Legion team will be picked from the best players on these four teams. By keeping together, the two leagues can both benefit, because the Junior baseball league will - play better baseball and the American Legion will get the ball players that the Junior league develops which will make them ood living acres of THE US.
