Show Frosh Win No. 2 BOX ELDER DUMPS NORTH CACHE 1 OOO J The Box Elder Bees found themselves trailing the Cache Bulldogs until midway in the fourth quarter before they moved ahead and went on the avenge an earlier an earlier de feat by a 25 to 21 score. The victory moved the Bees into un- disputed third place in the behind Logan and Bear Elver respectively. The Bees tossed a frigid 5 out of 15 tries from the free throw line while North Cache was even colder hitting the same amount of charity tosses while missing one more than the Bees. At this point the North Cache team began to show signs of tiring and after Berts next two field goals, the Bees had a five point lead and began td give the North Cache team some of its own hold the ball medicine. Winn and Hyde cashed in on two free tosses to cut the margin to three points for the North Cache team, but a foul was called in favor of Frank May just as the final gun sounded and after several minutes of delay, the floor was cleared and May added the final point to make the score 25 to 21 for Box Elder. The rest of the region games came out as expected. Logan, after their 38 to 33 win over South Cache, leads the region with six straight victories. Providing the Logan team can win two of the remaining four games they can cinch at least a tie for the region crown. They have to play Bear River, which is about the only team that has an outside chance of spilling them. Bear River .kept its hold on serond place with a 58 to 43 win over Weber. Box Elder led most of the way, but the Bears were always close behind. Both teams played a good brand of ball and showed signs of future ability. Leading scorer was a Bear. Left guard Christensen led scorers with a total of 10 tallies. Elynn Olsen and Robert Jensen followed Christensen with eight points each. Robert Hunsaker split the net for seven and Nell Hunsaker four for Box Elder. Potter was second high scorer for the Bears with six counters.
