The county welfare department will pay for their care, it was stated. That was the plea of the county welfare department today as three small were children abandoned for the second time within a week. Little Michael, age one, and two sisters, Alice two, and Susan four, need a father and mother; they need the affection and real love of worthy parents; they need a home. For several months they have been shifted from place to place in the county, have gone hungry, without clothing, and have been left for hours and even days at a time without the care of someone who loves them and is interested in them. They are starving for love and i, affection and for a sense of security which will enable them to grow up into normal manhood and womanhood. According to the welfare department, the children are already beginning to distrust the world and the people they come ill contact with. They feel not wanted and unloved.
