A family from Los Angeles, California, passing through Brigham City recently, decided to stop over for a couple hours and visit some friends. It was their misfortune to arrive in town before the chickens were up before even the people were out of bed. This family had the address of the people they were going to visit and as they drove past the new golf course, up the wide avenue on North Main, and down the attractive Brigham City Main street, they were serenely optimistic about finding the address with little trouble. Alas, they searched for the abode until people started filling Main street almost until the chickens were up in fact, but finding the friends home compared with finding Mulberry Avenue in Ilong Kong. They never found the place. It might be true that anybody with the I. Q. of a more intelligent moron should be able to find his way around Brigham City during a total eclipse with a blindfold on, but its surprising how many of us lower morons there are. It would seem that we need some means of identifying all our streets. A little paint lettered onto the curbs at the corners of the intersections would be fine. If the city fathers could filch a little cash from the budget someplace, perhaps we could have some neat white signs at every corner. war-surpl- us Hawaiian People Feel Pinch and Mrs. Eugene Clark and children, Leslie, Lynn and Eugene, of Valt, Ore. are viistors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy D.
