The newly-marriecouple left the following day for San Francisco, where they will make their home while the bridegroom is stationed at Treasure Island with the navy. . Both of the young people are graduates of Box Elder high school, Mr. Nelson with the class of 1943 and Mrs. Nelson with the class of 1945. Auxiliary Meets Last Thursday In War Memorial Home The regular business meeting of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary was held last Thursday afternoon at the War Memorial home, with a large attendance on hand. Four new members were inducted: Mrs. Ryman Peterson, Mrs. Keith Pettingill, Mrs. Carl Nelson and Mrs. Maria Pickey. Balloting was held on new members, who will be introduced at the next meeting. Mrs. Edith Petersen reported the Auxiliary's making a layette, to be used for some needy veterans family in the local post. Mrs. Ethel Caddy reported the successful clothing drive. One quilt and seven large boxes of clothing were turned in by the Auxiliary, in addition to what was turned in by Auxiliary members in the general collection. Word was received from the department president, Mary London, that the national president would make her visit to the local post and to Bushnell General hospital on Wednesday, March 20. Members of the local post were invited to have lunch with her at the Bushnell post, and accepted.
