Frank Bringhurst; dedication of the grave was by Robert Kaysville-Layto- Will Serve On LDS Mission were MILDRED KING Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Newton King, 69, of 8 Colonial, Layton, were held Thursday in the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary. Bishop Haven J. Barlow conducted the services. MRS. KING died Oct. 3, 1977 in the Davis North Medical Center. She was bom Nov. 24, 1908 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Joseph F. and Bertha Louise Gunderson Newton. Henderson and Charles Price, dmg W. 10, Temple. Mrs. King had been employed at Hill Air Force Base. She retired in 1966. SHE HAD lived in Layton since 1942. member of the Layton 12th Ward. He was bom Oct. 20, 1928, in Ogden, a son of James A. and Sarah Orton McEntire. he married Sherma Forbes in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the LDS ON MAY 24, 1947, Temple. He attended Davis County schools and received a Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology from Kent State University in Ohio. HE WAS a test pilot and assistant chief of flight operations for Airesearch Corp. of Arizona. He had flown over 24,000 hours. He was a member of the LDS 6th Ward in Tempe, Ariz. where he served as a high priest group leader. He was formerly the bishop of the San Andreas Ward.
