The most tamely things lcre are bur two smelters, both standing as .In a fluhionable demure as a dead-houcemetery. What alls the critters? would be a very impertinent question to ask. You will have one soon In Coriime, and If you are out of brick, you will then know as much about it as wo do. John Tiernan has made a lucky strike here m n getting 300 feet out of the 800 in tho 1 carbonmine. It is bully Grey ates that smelt as easily as bullets. I guess much of this will go to Corinne for reduction. The Fairviewmine, now owned by Weyh-to- n, Hogo Earll, still grows in favor. The proprietors of this mine will soon have a 20 stamp mill here for which they are now putting in the foundation. They are all live men and have got tho grease to lubricate things and run their mining. Quicksilver ores have really been found In Camp Floyd tho district adjoining. Well, what of it? who want any mercury in theirs? Tho battery timbers for Walker Bros. 25 stamp mill, camo in y. They were cut out in Truckeo. They are mammoth timbers. Both theso mills will be located VA to 1 M miles below town, and a dozen or fifteen saloons move down there at once. What a happy place it will bej to be sure I Yan Aukin, our newP.
