Y. under the supervision of the Eastern States Mission, President Frank Evans presiding. Conference sessions will be held all four days in the Sacred Grove at the Joseph Smith Farm at 9:00 a. m. 'and 1:30 p. m. Approximately 140 Eastern States Missionaries will be present SO of whom appear on the program as speakers and all of whom will be Americas cast In the pogeant, Witness for Christ. This year's performance has been revised and adgmented and will be presented the evenings of August 2 and S. . Tj past years the meetings and the pageant have attracted wide attention. This year's pageant will depict clearly Joseph Smith's role in relation to the historical scenes. Last year the highway patrolman estimated a total attendance of 35,000 people at the two performances of the pageant. This year It Is expected that nearly 50,000 people will witness this brilliantly lighted, colorfully costumed production of '.Americas Witness for Christ. It will be presented on elevated stages on the side of the Hill Cumorah. Many parents of missionaries who are soon to return home plan to attend this conference.
