GRANT IVINS, President Scera. - fea-.lr- es Nineteen hundred thirty five ears have passed since there was born into this world a man bringing with him princ'ples that will al-- y s be remembered as long as the reign of Christianity is on the earth. He brought with him the feeling of peace and good will toward men to all people and left that principle with the people to carry with them in their eery day life, that it may be carried down through the ages of time. To help in the carrying of this feeling of good will and fellowship there has been organizations that are endeavoring to make this world better place in which to live, a world that will be made up of a feeling of conradsliip among all of people. The Orem Chamber Commerce js one of these organizations. It has as its aim the betterment of the conditions that will make Orem a more desirable place in which to live. With this aim in view there has been 91 men in the town of Orein and those interested in the welfare of Orem join the Chamber of Commerce. To help in the betterment of Orem the Chamber of Commerce has held annually a clean-u- p campaign in the springtime so that all rubbish was disposed of. The Future Farmeri of America have been given prizes to encourage the boys to be better farmers. GREETINGS OF STAKE PRESIDENCY For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whomsoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. So declared Jesus the Son of God to the inquiring Nicodem-u- s centuries ago. The love of God for His children is beyond human comprehension. Jesus had the same love for His brethren. Ills lifes work was a work of love. Love for their fellow men has characterized all true followers of the Nazarene from the time of His mortal life until the present. Indeed, it is difficult for anyone to be a follower of Jesus without first having a great desire to benefit humanity. As the time approaches when the peoples of the earth commemorate His birth, we testify, to His goodness, to the joy that comes in serving Him through helping others. We also testify that in spite of all the greed, selfishness, hate and strife, that exist in the world today, there are many faithful followers of the Christ, that true Christian love exists in the hearts of many. ,We have found it in the hearts of many of our fellow members in the Church we serve. We have found it in other churches and in many" honorable people of the earth who profess no particular religion. To you our fellow workers, who have been demonstrating your love of God through unselfish service for others, we express our heartfelt gratitude, and pray that the new year may bring to you and yours a full measure of health, happiness and success. We hpld no friends dearer than ou, and hope we shall merit your love, confidence and loyal support. To you, and all the people of Sharon, and all men everyth here we say : May the Lord bless thee and make his countenance to shine upon thee and give thee peace. Sincerely your brethren, ARTHUR V.
