Ninety-thre- e per cent of 410 in Austria interviewed Hungarians Soviet after fleeing the oppression in their homeland sstated they listened to Radio Free Europe broadcasts. Four per cent had not listened to RFE and one per cent was not familiar witji the Western European network. Two per cent of the persons interviewed gave no Hunter Safety Course Eu-rro- pe ng opinion. Radio Fi;ee Europ also gained a 79 per cent vote as the station given greatest listening time. One refugee said, "We continuously listened, with millions of Hungarians, to Radio Free Europe and other Hungarian broadcasts from abroad. We practically lived on these broadcasts; they reached us as a hopeful dream from abroad, she said. An appeal to continue RFE operations to spread truth in Soviet satellite nations has been made to Utahns by Crusade for Freedom, which finances RFE and Free Europe Press. Training techniques were stressed throughout the hour and a half session. The second portion of the Tooele Hunter's Safety Instruction-class will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thurday night in the armory. Any adult who feels he or she may. make a contribution to the safety of youngsters in the hunting field is Invited to participate. Courses will be offered in other parts of the state in the near fu- ture.
