Artist Group H Cub Scout Pack No. 3291 held their first ' Pack meeting Thursday, February 28, 1957 at 7:30 p.m. at the Seminary Building. This was the first meeting of the Pack andwas a very successful and well attended meeting. The following Cubs received their Bob Cat Badges from Assistant Cub Master Clyde Rock, Den No. 1; Joseph Urbanick, Kent Keele and Bruqe Hersh; Den No. 2, Phillip Behling, Sid Harvey, David Robertsan, Jeffery Smith, Randall Lindsey, Kirk Moffitt, Craig S. Jones, Terry Skraznas, and K. Douglas Hintzi; Den No. 3, Douglas Blackburn, James Talle-ricRobert Richardson, Billy Callahan, James Culahan, Richard J. Ross and Richard J. Peacock. Den No. 2 had the largest representation of parents present with fifteen out of ighteen present. The Den Mothers of the Pack are Betty Keele, Den No. 1; Lillian Harvey, Den No. 2; Lena Callahan and Melba Ross, Den No. 3; Lora Peterson, Den No. 4 and Madge Behling and Leah Lindsey are organizing Den No. o, 5. The Carbon County Art League at its last meeting elected new Blaine officers for the ydar. Richardson was elevated to the presidency of the artist-group. Also elected were Lilias Ove-spvice president; E. JL. Winn, secretary-treasureTom Beveridge and Evelyn Massey, publicity; Faye Arthur, historian. During the past year the league entertained such name artists as Lynn Fausett, Max Blaine, Prof. Calvin Fletcher and M. Samuelson as guest lecturers, and concluded a very successful year under the able guidance of Past President Rina Knudsen. Mr. Faucett is an honorary member of the league and is currently in Europe to further his studies of the old masters. The league recently received an oil painting from him, and a water color from Max Blaine.
