Rev. and Mrs. S. W. Badgett and their daughter, Erdine Phaye, have returned from a trim to Texas where they spent their holidays. Whilethere, they visited Mrs. Bad-getfamily in Dallas and Mr. Badgetts brother in Amarillo. Frank Madeira filled the pulpit whilethe pastor was gone. The' Intermediate Training Union class had a skating party on the pond at the Big Spring Ranch on New Years Day. The youngsters skated a while, then ended the party with a weiner roast on the bank of the pond. Those attending were Joyce and, Leslie Hamilton, Tressa and Betty Lou Collins, Dianne and Keith Ada Jean and Bo Huff, Evelyn and Marilyn Doty, Peggy Hutson, Penny Karrick, Rae Ann Cook, Raymond Brandon, Carol Lee Koskie, Peggy Watson, Frank-DalDon and Geraldine Maddera, Judy Darr, Mary Ellen Bliss and the sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Maddera and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Koskie. The Adult Training Union held a Watehnight; Service on New. Years Eve at the church. A chili dinner was served by Group 2 of the class. This group had the least points for attendance during the past quarter. After the dinner, a program of singing, testimony and prayer was conducted with Frank Maddera in charge. The church bell rang at midnight. The Intermediate Sunday School class held a skating party at tjhe Big, Spring Ranch skating pond Sunday afternoon under the sponsorship of Mrs. Ida Hamilton, Intermediate eacher. The Womens Missionary Union will hold the Lottie Moon Foreign Mission Offering and Week of Prayer this week. This consists of a program of prayer and reports on the missionary work and needs of the Southern Baptist Convention on foreign fields. Rhoda Huntsman, Hice, were dinner guests at the .home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Huntsman, Sunnyside, qn Christmas day. Other holiday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evins, Salt' Lake City, mid Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Perry, Helper, Utah. Business .
