As an American did you know Two East Carbon This is the second of a series of articles on the incorporation of the town of Dragerton. If you have any reasons for or against, please send them to the Tribune and we will publish one each week. This is the American Way. Discussion, not repression. Public enlightenment through public discussion. An article appearing in last weeks issue of the Dragerton Tribune describing the various adthe vantages of Incorporating town of Dragerton was very interesting. However, it should be pointed out that the reason why the residents of thic community turned the previous proposals of incorporate this town was not due to the lack of understanding of the advantages of the Incorporated town, but to the fact that the residents objected to going into debt to purchase the various utilities, etc., that would be necessary for the operation of the town. They are already paying for these various utilities through other means. The residents of Dragerton have saved themselves almost two million dollars by not being incorporated over the water reservoir deal and a large amount of money is still involved in the purchase balance of the facilities that would have to be bought in order to operate the town as a municipality. It is suggested that the interested parties should make a thorough study of facts before subjecting the county and the residents of this community to the expense and trouble of conducting a campaign to incorporate' the town of Dragerton. State of the Union has been filmed, and is also a best-sell- er book. It will take you behind the scenes of politics. There isa lot more to running for president than meets the eye. Mary Matthews and Llubelle Alexander have a new and different outlook on politics, which is brought out quite plainly when they have consumed several sazaracs. Although this play is a comedy, there is a deep-seatmeaning in the lines, and a good lesson in politics. State of the Union shows how politicians work, and how the American people feel and react to politics. State of the Union, a comedy in three acts, centered around selecting a candidate to run for President o fthe United States, will be presented by the Play Production class of Carbon College on Wednesday, April 23 at the Price Civic Auditorium, according to Elmo Geary, Drama Director. not much fighting in interested in the death rays, guided missils and devices.
