The Dragerton for the Clear Creek first stringers and the locals B squad was scoring 87 while their opponents were connecting with 97 birds. All the local participants in the meet reported a very successful shoot. All of the trapshooting artists took their families and a lunch with them and stated they had a very enjoyable time at the meet. Emery Olsen, who was supposed to shoot for the Dragerton club, was slightly delayed in arriving and never made it in time for the shoot although he arrived in plenty of time to eat dinner. He partially redeemed himself by turning in a fine job in the doubles later in the afternoon. Les Peterson turned in the high score for the local club and tied with Jack Malaska of Clear Creek for the top honors of the day with a score of 24. The other members of the Dragerton A squad and their scores were: Jim Lipsy 22, Bud Morrison 22, John Busch 19 and Julias Rossman 18. The Dragerton B squad scores are as follows: Julias Rossman 22, Clayton Anderson 21, B. Stultz 16, A. Orme 16 and E.
