There is a petition on file asking for a viaduct over the tracks at Fourth South street and some rivalry developed among the champions of the Varldus - streets. The concensus of opinion, how- ever, favored a viaduct where It cotftd be earliest secured. Mr. McDonald and a portion of the - Fifth Booth street contingent rather insisted In their demand that the com mission give an immediate answer to the viaduct question.
