News photo by Lowell Hance. Randolph residents. Laurel Telford and George Barker have been a big help with the wildlife feeding program. Reed, Groll, Fred Feller, Dennis Jacobsen, and Lawrence Brown have donated hay and helped with teh feeding. Perry Cornia has donated his time and truch to haul pellets. Some ranchers have let the deer eat form their haystacks. Others, not mentioned, have also been a big LeVon Thomas, Utah State Game and Wildlife Officer, reports that the wildlife feeding program has been a big success in Rich County. I feel good about the program. Its definitely been a big help to the wildlife. And many of the animals have backed away from the ranchers haystacks. Thomas estimates that up to 1,000 deer, antelope, 'and elk are help. benefiting from the feeding program in the county. The wildlife are being fed mostly deer pellets, bought from state donations. Some are receiving donated hay, also. The animals are fed once a day. Many area ranchers have volunteered time and equipment to help with the wildlife feeding program.
