Show The Rich County News, January 5, 1984, Page 7 North Rich Bombs Kemmerer by Lowell Hance Region two action perked up Kemmerer a bit last week, as the Rangers fell prey to those battle hungry young men from North Rich. Decidedly, the secret of the North Rich fast break remains a mystery. With a first quarter lead of only four points, the Mustangs afforded the Rangers a glimpse of hope. But the hopes of ever winning grew slim indeed as Wamsleys team lured them into the second quarter. Suffice it to say Wamsley may as well have indicated that his wranglers show no mercy. With a half time advantage of 18 points, the gap widened still further in the third period to a 24 point margin. While the Rangers were still hunting the Mustangs and wondering who are these guys, their confusion was sustained by the uninterrupted momentum of North Rich. Kelly Mills led the rebounding for the game with a total of 13. Wamsley logged seven rebounds, Anderson six, Lamborn two, and Willis one. Lamborn had the most turnovers with seven, while Mills grabbed four. Total points for the game was Wamsley, 30, Lamborn 19, Mills 17, Anderson eight, Huefner eight, Willis two, and Johnson two. Ravenikar, of the Rangers, had a very good evening with 21 points. Corra trailed with eleven, Pollard ten, Thornock eight, Waisath eight, Herzog seven, and Julian dumped its on very important for a team to wi the road.
