Show Womens Clubs Convention Set 10. 1985 2, Members of 56 clubs of the GFWC-Uta- May Federation of h Wo- mens Clubs will hold their annual state convention in Brigham City, May 2-- All members of clubs affiliated with this organization are urged to attend all or part of the two day convention which will commence on Thursday. Some highlights of the convention activities will include a tour of the Morton-ThiokSpace Shut- tle Boosters Motor Production Center Thursday afternoon and a "Las Vegas Fun Night at the Brigham City Community Center Thursday evening where most of the convention activities will be held. Friday will feature the arts and crafts exhibit by the club women, a prayer breakfast at the Red Baron Restaurant, general session with the keynote speaker Ronald Frandsen of Brigham City and Mrs. Wendell O. Winger, a native of Utah and also president of the aa General Federation of Women's Clubs, the worlds largest organization of volunteer women, will be special guest at all convention functions. Following the Friday luneheon and afternoon business session a reception will honor all past state presidents and the awards banquet will follow at which time all special awards will be made to designated clubs in Utah. . The Tooele School Districts 1985 Fine Arts Fair produced an array of excellent art creations. Stansbury Elementary students grabbed high honors in the oil painting discipline.
