Show Area Obituaries Don R. Freebairn Our beloved Don Russell Freebairn, 54, passed away of natural causes April 29, 1985 in San Francisco, California. Don was born in Tooele, Utah, April 22, 1931, to Elma Jean Park Freebairn and George Russell Freebairn. He married Carolyn Joyner, Dec. 10, 1954 in Columbia, South Carolina and was sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Dec. 17, 1954. Don graduated from the University of Utah Law Schol and served in the U.S. Army. Worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation and as Regional Employee and Labor Relations Executive for the United States Postal Service. Official scorekeeper for the Salt Lake den Eagles for many years. Gol- Active in the LDS Church.
