Richards, came here as Missi Ina Ashton, and taught one of the rooms in the then Tooele grade! school. The Richards family built the home now remodeled into tliej Tate mortuary, and the then Miss Ashton hoarded at the William Isgreen home, who were the parents of Mrs. Myrtle Allsop. George F. Richards, who served as a member of tlu Tooele stake! presidency, and was a stake patriarch, was called into the LDS Quorum of Twelve, shortly after the turn of the century, and became the president of that quorum before his death; whiih, according to . tradition of the FITS church, placed him just one step away from the position os president of the LDS church.
