Saylor will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the North Tooele stake tabernacle, under direction of the bishopric of the Fifth ward Mr. Saylor died Monday morning, at the Tooele Valley hospital, of a heart ailment. He was born at Lawrence, Kansas, on Oct. 4, 1905, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ashford H. Saylor. He received his education at Lawrence, graduating from, the University of Kansas in 1927 as a metalurgical engineer. He came to Tooele that same year, where he has since resided, and where he has been employed by the International Smelting and Refining Co. with the exception of one year, which he spent in Wash., D.C., with the US Bureau of Mines, while on a leave from the smelter. He was a member of the AIM-M- 10, 1959 He came to Tooele four years ago from Price, where he was the local golf pro. Before, that, he was assistant pro at one of the Griffith Parks in Los Angeles. Tony was born in New Jersey, but moved to California at an early age. Golfing isnt exactly a strange profession in the family, as his brother is a pro at Sacramento. Lady golfers arc also high in their prais:; for Tonys wife, Marie whom they say has been one of their best boosters in all activities. Prominent local golfer, Alice Lind- 5'w-- berg, summed up their feelings when she said, Marie hasn't had much .time to play golf, but has constantly worked with us, and has been a great asset to the Tooele Association.
