The Tooele Transcript begin its tlrd year with tins issue as once more a weekly publication. Among one of the oldest newspapers in Utah. The Tooele Transcript was founded in June of 194; and in all of the 63 yesrs only one issue has been missed, and that was within a few weeks of its founding when us printing plant was moved from Salt Lake City to Tooele. 8 The Tooele Transcript will be published each Friday, and The Tooele Bulletin will be published each Tuesday. Carrier aervice and aubscripcion will be on a Joint basis with no increase in price from that previously charged by The Transcript-Bulletin- . , The Transcript will have as ns ednor and publisher, Ale F. Dunn, who has been connected with the publication since 1910, and has been its publisher and owner since 1919. Fre first graders take the metropolitan readiness test under the direction of Mi. Mildred Wolt, who will be directing teacher in the special education Institute at the University of Utah during the coming achool year. June 29th Stampede, rated as the top performance of its kind, will be one of the chief attractions on the Tooele Slake sponsored tour of Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, and Lake Louise, which leaves Tooele, at 6; 30 a. m. July 4, and returns on July 10. The tour, which includes bus fare and every night, will cost $68. Extra expenses will be: food, small admission fee to parks, and stampede tickets, which are being reserved for the afternoon, and evening shows.
